I love it. You took a "downer" - a snowstorm and had fun with it. The music added a lot. I'm a fan of music when nat sound doesn't add anything to the story.
Thanks for taking time to watch the video and adding your comments.
This was probably the most fun to edit of all the videos I've done so far. Maybe because it was a light-hearted piece or maybe because I simplified the process by using music instead of editing ambient sounds.
In your opinion, when should we use music in a video? I don't want to OD on music in my videos, but I do want to use it when it is appropriate.
Is this the same dog that took a leak on my carpet?
The video is great! If I was to change anything, I would have included more natural sound....just a little bit blended into the mix. But hey, that's me.
You've really come a long way in such a short time. Keep pushing yourself.
cute. I like the shot of the dog playing in the snow and then pan of Kathryn's *beautiful* face. :)
nice. the music fits fine, since this is just a 1-2 minute piece anyway. if you were doing a longer piece, you would have the music come in and out with a variety of other sequences of course. another angle would have been to follow closely the dog from the moment it woke up and then for the next hour or so to see what it does. you know, a "dog's view" kind of world. and then ending it with this musical piece. but the length as is I think is appropriate. :)

That dog is adorable. I love how simple the video is; yet it perfectly captures the novelty (and at times annoyance) of a fresh snow. Nice job.
